International Relations
The Sub-directorate of Students and International Relations support student in the following activities:
PROMOTE SUPPORT FOR STUDENT MOBILITY AT A NATIONAL LEVEL (SICUE / SÉNECA PROGRAM), AS WELL AS EUROPEAN (SOCRATES / ERASMUS PROGRAM) AND INTERNATIONAL LEVEL (THIRD COUNTRIES).
PROMOTE AGREEMENTS WITH COMPANIES AND INSTITUTIONS OF THE AGRARIAN AND FOOD SECTOR TO FACILITATE WORKPLACEMENTS AND TO OFFER THE FIRT STEPS FOR THE STUDENTS’ CARRER.
COORDINATE CULTURAL ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE UPM AND THE COLLEGE AS WELL AS THOSE MANAGED AND PROMOTED BY STUDENT SOCIETIES.
COORDINATE THE ACTIVITIES OF THE CULTURAL AND SPORTS STUDENT SOCIETIES.
PROMOTE AND MANAGE GRANTS AND SUPPORT FOR STUDENTS.
Student Societies
The student societies represent the dynamic campus life at University. UPM is home to nearly two hundred student societies of culture, leisure and most importantly sports. This variety of societies makes UPM one of the most divers and plentiful Spanish universities. Societies are the ideal place for students to enrich their personal life, develop their creative skills and enjoy the many activities that are organized both inside and outside their colleges.

Societies at UPM
The rich cultural program at UPM offers twenty-four different cultural activities. They include: classical music with around fifteen annual concerts, seven of these are part of the Symphonic program in the National Auditorium, the other eight are held within the Musical Education Centers.
