Our investigation in this area is focused on:
It is the other corner stone of the general research of GESPLAN. Investigation started more than 25 years ago in cooperation with universities from the United States (UCLA and Berkeley). The perception of the success of a project hast changed over the last decades. Nowadays, the success of a project is not only based on the fulfillment of its requirements within the given frame and without exceeding the budgeted costs. Project management therefore became more complex and need to go beyond technical skills of good calculation, planning and control.
The research discipline "Project Management" has formed to gain a better understanding of these newly risen requirements. It is an independent discipline with its’ own teaching and mastery of techniques, tools and knowledge. GESPLAN tries to respond to this change by offering modern teaching methods to train professionals capable of using management techniques and tools in times of change, risks and resource limitations.
