Our lines of research in this area are:

  • Professional competences in the management of development projects.
  • Competence training oriented towards certification in project management

Nowadays, the success of a project, based on the fulfilment of its requirements on time, without exceeding the budgeted costs and with the defined quality, is an objective that no longer depends exclusively on good estimation, planning and control. Hence, it is no longer appropriate to understand project management simply as a technical function dedicated to planning and controlling the development of projects.

The appropriate combination of the principles necessary for proper project management has been shaping a new discipline: "Project Management". It is an independent discipline that requires academic training, the mastery of a body of knowledge, and appropriate techniques and tools. At GESPLAN we try to respond to this reality by providing a suitable approach to the training of professionals who have mastered the most modern knowledge, techniques and tools to face change, risks and resource limitations.

Our objectives in the training/professionalisation in Project Management are:

  1. To provide a conceptual and practical framework (knowledge, skills, techniques, tools and practices) to help solve problems.
  2. To train managers and leaders who are capable of adapting to complex organizations and diversity.
  3. To enable students to successfully pass the tests for certification as professionals.
