«The conference-debate has to be documented to show skills that innclude contributions in writing, synthesis capacity and the ability to argue, base and structure main developed ideas.»

This activity is carried out by outstanding people who exhibit professional responsibility, experience and knowledge. They present current matters or complementary experiences to the theoretical contents of the Master in a colloquial manner. These activities have a pedagogical objective in the development of personal competences by dealing with the topic in an open and colloquial way. In a trust environment, the skills for communication, assessment of personal values and public exposition of ideas are also demonstrated.  
The student must research the conference-debate method and show the ability to provide contributions in writing. Students must also develop the capacity to argue, support and organize developed ideas. Also, students must put these ideas into practice with reasoning and analysis for the basis of the Final Master’s Thesis.

Field visits

As external experiences, and as a support for complementary training of modules and FMT, there are a series of study visits that work as joint field workshops. These visits make it possible to analyze experiences and pilot projects for rural-local development as singular and excellent examples. Particiating in the study visits provides direct contact with the professionals who have developed the projects.

Field work

It constitutes a pedagogical method of worldwide experience in the training of professionals where their classroom is their workplace. This learning tool makes training for life, business, professional and social life possible. Thus, through the Master, we have a network of universities, professional institutions, local action groups, cooperatives, agricultural professional organizations, etc., that are directly involved in practical activities of rural development and sustainable management. The periods of stay and internships at these external institutions will be determined based on FMT guidance.
